Award-winning Taiwanese film director Chi Po-Lin, best known for his documentary films on Taiwan’s natural beauty and environmental protests through aerial photography, was killed in a helicopter crash in Hualien, Taiwan on Saturday (June 10).
The current exhibition about Chi Po-Lin (1964-2017) at Taipei’s Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (No. 4 Warehouse) centers on the topics of Taiwan’s past environmental movements and Taiwan’s natural scenery.
The exhibition featuring the director’s works currently displayed at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei bears a reflected, historical witness to the environmental movements of the past several decades through the camera lens of Taiwanese director Chi Po-Lin.

The easiest way to get there is to travel by Taipei MRT.
Take the Banqiao Line (Blue Line) to the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station, and take Exit 5 and walk for about 550m to Yanchang Road (the intersection of Civic Boulevard and Guangfu South Road).
Take the Banqiao Line (Blue Line) to the Taipei City Hall Station, and take Exit 1 (with stairs) or Exit 2 (with escalators) and walk for about 400m to Lane 553, Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road.
